Janette is spot on about if the reader is anticipated to be a woman then the perspective should come from the female character in the story. Most emotionally charged stories are read by women. The exception would be stories with historical significance. Loving and Hidden Figures would appeal to both men and women.
Randy did a great job of using characters that fit current events at any time. The characters are fictonal yet can fit any current presidential situation.
Thanks for the podcast guys,
Jeannie
